# Institute for Hebrew Bible Manuscript Research

> Read-only public catalog of Hebrew Bible manuscripts. The machine-readable export includes folio labels, biblical ranges, stored scribe labels, bibliography, and published notes. Image files are omitted while image rights are unreviewed. A null scribe label is unassigned. Do not fill it from a neighboring folio.

IHBMR publishes a manuscript viewer for Hebrew Bible manuscripts. Each public manuscript has a stable URL. The first screen is a short record of the manuscript. Begin Browsing opens the viewer.

Use the manuscript code in the path. A verse URL opens the viewer on the folio that contains that passage.

A folio label can have more than one page id. Those rows are separate photographs of the same side. `image.role` is `primary`, `stub`, or `additional`. `image.sameFolioPageIds` lists the other page ids. Image files are omitted.

Bibliography includes structured entries and the free-text bibliography shown on the manuscript page. Published notes are on `annotations`. A null scribe label is unassigned. Do not fill it from a neighboring folio, a bibliography entry, or a holding-institution summary.
